You can Book Your First Appointment directly through our website, or access the Returning Client Portal if you’re an existing patient.

Your first appointment is a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation lasting approximately 60-90 minutes. We’ll review your mental health history, discuss your current symptoms and goals, complete necessary assessments, and begin developing a personalized treatment plan.

You’ll leave with a clear understanding of your diagnosis (if applicable) and recommended next steps for your care.

Information shared with your provider cannot be disclosed without your written consent, except in specific legally required situations such as imminent risk of harm, suspected abuse, or court orders.

Telepsychiatry is available for both new and returning patients and provides the same quality, evidence-based care as in-person visits using secure, HIPAA-compliant technology.

The Horizon Behavioral Health is located in Worcester, Massachusetts, serving patients throughout Central Massachusetts including Auburn, Shrewsbury, Holden, Millbury, Grafton, Northborough, Westborough, and other Worcester County communities.

We also offer telepsychiatry services for patients who prefer remote care.

Yes! We provide mental health services for adolescents as well as adults. Margaret Akintan has extensive experience working with teens and their families.

Adolescent care requires specialized approaches that consider developmental factors, family dynamics, and the unique challenges facing young people. We’re here to support both teens and their families through the treatment process.
